My journey into editorial design took off in 2000 at the first Axel Springer daily newspaper in Poland. As part of a close-knit team, I had the rare chance to shape the weekly magazine “Kultura” from the ground up—overseeing every aspect from initial dummy runs to the excitement of seeing the first issue in print.

This formative experience led me to join the graphic studio at Cosmopolitan, where I honed my craft even further. Eventually, I founded my own design studio, where I launched my original project, Kreator—a 100-page, full-color supplement to Playboy magazine. For three years, my sister, a talented photographer and scriptwriter, and I collaborated on all aspects of this publication, producing 10 issues that encompassed concept development, layout, photo shoots, and pre-press.

After moving to Berlin, I found new ways to apply my editorial skills. Working in a creative boutique, I was an integral part of designing and illustrating various magazines for the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

In 2018, I contributed significantly to the creation of one of the periodicals of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation – “Zukunft ‘Deutschland. Das nächste Kapitel”, which was published as a supplement in national daily newspapers. My creative scope was correspondingly large, as I was responsible for the editorial design, created several artistic illustrations and did the typesetting and pre-press work.

The magazine, which was published in the fall of 2018, gave me a great opportunity to prove myself by handling a publication with a complex workflow, a high level of creativity and a large print run using web offset. In this clip the magazine was presented to the former German Chancellor – Angela Merkel during a KAS congress.
